When Life Stops You in Your Tracks But God Lifts You Higher.

There was a time in my life when everything I knew came to a sudden halt.

At twenty-eight, I was a mom of four energetic young boys always on the move, always giving, always holding it all together. Until one tragic day, my body said no more.

A spinal injury left me bedridden and in debilitating pain.

The doctors offered no hope.

My faith was tested in ways I never imagined.

For five long years, I searched for answers as pain and uncertainty became part of my everyday life. But even in that stillness, God was at work. He gave me the gift of writing words that poured out through tears, turning pain into poetry and despair into hope.

From my bed, I turned my room into a sanctuary for my boys, our own little world of bedtime stories, board games, homework, laughter, and family shows. Though I could no longer stand, walk, or even sit for long, I could still offer my love, attention, time, and affection. And in the love I had for my children, as well as the love I knew I had from God, I found strength.

When I look back, I realize: resilience isn’t about how fast you get back up. It’s about who you become while you’re down.

That season of stillness birthed Cheerful Hearts, which began with an inspirational line of greeting cards and gifts. Then growing into a purpose-driven coaching practice and an international Motivational Speaker.

Today, I help women rebuild their lives with faith, peace, and joy, no matter how many times life has knocked them down.

Because friend, there is joy on the other side. And often we need an outside perspective to help us find our way. You just have to keep walking or sometimes, just keep believing until you reach it. Whatever you do, just DON'T GIVE UP!
